History

Sakarya Vocational School was opened in 1976 to train qualified labour force for certain professions at that time. In 1982, Sakarya Vocational School became a part of Sakarya Engineering Faculty, which belonged Istanbul Technical University (ITU). When Sakarya University was established in 1992, Sakarya Vocational School was incorporated into it.

Finally, with the establishment of Sakarya University of Applied Sciences in 2018, our school was incorporated into it. Our school continues its educational activities in Camili campus.


General Information

The qualified personnel of the future are trained in the technical and social programs of Sakarya Vocational School. Graduates are preferred primarily in the leading sectors in our region and in our country.

Our school has 12 departments and 18 different programs within these departments. Programs in our school are: Press and Publishing, Computer Programming, Office Management and Executive Assistant, Environmental Protection and Control, Electricity, Electronic Technology, Industrial Molding, Gas Installation and Technology, Public Relations, Construction Technology, Business Management, Logistics, Machine Image Construction, Machinery, Mechatronics, Metallurgy, Accounting and Tax Practices, Retail Sales and Store Management. 

There are approximately 4,500 students in our school.

Our school is 10 minutes from the city centre and 15 minutes from Esentepe Campus.
