The Environmental Protection and Control Program offers a two-year education as an associate degree program after high school education. Students are selected from the relevant vocational high school graduates or high school graduates with the Undergraduate Placement Exam (LYS) held by the Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM).

The program includes theoretical and practical courses for the profession, such as; environmental legislation, environmental pollution, environmental pollution control technologies and treatment methods, environmental analysis laboratory, alternative energy sources, ISO 14001 environment and ISO 9001 quality management systems. Students gain knowledge about environmental regulations through their 30-day internship during their education.

The program was opened in 1997-1998 academic year for the students who are environmentally conscious, perceive environmental problems and can offer solutions. In the 3 + 1 education model, students receive practical training in three semesters at school and one semester at workplaces. In addition, successful students find the opportunity to settle in the job after the internship. Thanks to an Environmental Laboratory included in the program, it is aimed to equip them with practical skills by conducting practical lessons.
