Aims

The aim of the Business Management program is to train graduates to meet the qualified labour force, which is equipped with the knowledge and skills that businesses need and can meet the needs of the global world. For this purpose, the courses in the program are designed and processed in a way that combines theory and practice. One of the most important goals of the program is to provide students with an education in line with the most up-to-date strategic, managerial and sectoral developments they can encounter in business life and to prepare them as business candidates for the business world by gaining a management vision focused on the business life of today and the future.

 

Objectives

The main objectives of this program are to train individuals who

  • can be responsible for managerial assistant and mid-level management in businesses, 
  • support business management in the management of the business process with the efficient use of resources, time and workforce, 
  • know the basic principles of business administration, 
  • use modern technology related to the business profession, 
  • have command of the legislation related to the profession and knowing their legal responsibilities, 
  • recognize documents used in commercial life, 
  • are equipped with information that can follow economic developments, 
  • is able to research and develop individually or as a group in matters related to the field, 
  • will be able to open and run a business on behalf of or as an intermediate staff to assist management in the management and administration of business life and public administration, 
  • understand the importance of professional ethics in business life.

Students who successfully complete this program are entitled to receive a "Business Management Associate Degree".

 

Job Opportunities

Program graduates have a wide range of job opportunities. They have the opportunity to work in the fields of marketing, finance, accounting, public relations, personnel (human resources) in all businesses including the private sector or the public sector in the business world. Some of these job opportunities are: independent accountant, financial advisor and certified public accountant offices, accounting, marketing, personnel, purchasing and public relations departments in large and small businesses such as investment and financial institutions, public and private banks.
